Our Newhall Street Nursery is conveniently located near Cannock town centre (South Staffordshire) and offers a warm, welcoming environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The nursery accommodates up to 38 children and is set within a detached bungalow featuring three main rooms, each thoughtfully designed to support different stages of development. Children also benefit from access to a beautiful garden, providing plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and exploration.
Our Robins Room is a calm, nurturing space designed especially for our youngest babies, with a maximum of six children cared for by two dedicated members of staff. We understand how important consistency is in these early months, which is why we work closely with you to follow your baby’s individual home routine. The room is thoughtfully equipped with a variety of sensory resources to stimulate early development, along with a cosy role-play kitchen for imaginative exploration. Each day includes gentle, adult-led activities tailored to support your baby’s growth at their own pace. With access to their very own baby garden, even our tiniest learners can enjoy fresh air and outdoor discovery in a safe and peaceful environment.
Our Sparrows Room is specially designed for curious, active toddlers, offering a warm and stimulating environment where up to 10 children are cared for by three nurturing staff members. As your child begins to explore the world with growing confidence, we support their early development through tailored activities that encourage independence and discovery. With free access to messy play, sand and water, and a variety of arts and crafts, there’s always something new to spark their imagination. At the same time, our cosy story and rhyme corner provides a calm, familiar space for quiet moments and shared enjoyment. The Sparrows also benefit from access to our secure baby garden, giving them plenty of opportunity for fresh air and outdoor play.
Welcome to our Woodpeckers Room – a bright, spacious, and inspiring environment designed especially for children aged 2 to 4 years. With space for up to 25 little learners, this open-plan room is thoughtfully set up to nurture imagination, independence, and development through play.
Your child will love exploring our carefully designed zones, including a creative "Creation Station," a sensory-rich malleable area, an exciting construction and small world play space, cascading sand and water trays, a homely role-play corner, and a cosy story area perfect for quiet time and shared reading.
What makes our Woodpeckers Room even more special is its seamless access to our beautiful garden, allowing children to move freely between indoor and outdoor areas. This connection to nature supports physical development, well-being, and a love for the outdoors—rain or shine.
Our nursery garden is a vibrant and exciting hub where children of all ages come together to play, explore, and learn in the great outdoors. From the bustling mud kitchen filled with fragrant herbs to the cosy storytelling den, there’s something for every child to enjoy. Little adventurers can zoom around on bikes and scooters, dig and discover in the floor-level sandpit, or splash and experiment with our water trays. We’re proud to offer a dedicated Forest School area, where children can connect with nature through hands-on experiences like planting in our garden beds, spotting bugs at the bug hotel, and caring for our friendly nursery pets—a rabbit and a guinea pig! Our youngest babies have their own specially designed garden, complete with a mini climbing frame, sound wall, toddler-friendly bikes, their very own mud kitchen, and a safe sandpit for sensory play. Whatever their age, every child can enjoy the benefits of outdoor learning in a safe, stimulating, and nature-rich environment.
